Randy, I design my own boats using kayak foundry. The image below has some of the specs if you have good eyesight. This one has a slightly higher deck, I have found by adding 1.5 inches to the deck I can put my camera gear under the deck instead of having a deck bag on top, I am trying a new design on this one I let you know how it goes. I have not named this one yet. The hull is basswood (linden), and the dark wood is thermally treated polar ( tulip). The tulip is slightly stronger and lighter than cedar but it splits more easily. The deck has both those woods, red cedar, and aspen. The front stem is cherry and the back stem is hickory (both woods I had left over from a kitchen build several years ago.
