Joe doesnt like the idea of committing to buy catered food from thier required vendor. He says the menu isnt all that good.

I tend to agree. I'd rather have a BBQ or a potluck, and Joe will reserve the kitchen facility for that. Also, he said the only 'group' camp is in the upper campground, and wants everybody to be closer to the action if desired. It makes sense to me, even though the lower camp isnt all that good for tents I'd rather be close to the beach. Next year I'll bring a wind screen for the tent. And a boat cart.

So, the only thing we can do is to all reserve our spots right at April 1st, and ask specifically for 'anything in sites 1-15' or '1-20', depending on how many people will reserve sites. We should be able to get them, but no guarantees.

Joe mentioned an "Awards Ceremony", to which I responded "Lets see - Nicest boat - Joe. Nicest Paddle - Joe. Most work to organise this mess - Joe. :)"

Maybe we could have an award for the fastest wet exit. Or for the newest boat, or something.
