Strip: 1/4" or 5/16" bead and cove bits

Hi all,

MLCS sells both 1/4" and 5/16" bead and cove bits. I'll be starting my first stripper soon and was wondering which set you guys would purchace. I suppose it depends largely on my strip thickness, which is still TBD 1/4 vice 3/16ths.

I suppose if I go with 1/4" strips, the 5/16" bits would be more forgiving. Would the 5/16" bit also work if I decide to go with 3/16" strips? What would be the disadvantage?

Bottom line (and I guess my actual question) is that I'd like to purchase only one set to work with both 1/4" and 3/16" strips - which bit set would that be?

Thanks a bunch,
Chuck
