I've been building paddles for a while now, and when I went over my collection of home-built paddles, I was surprised to find how productive I've been. It just goes to show what spending a couple hours tinkering in the garage can do instead wasting time watching TV. By the way, over the years I've probably built over 25 paddles, many of which didn't meet my high standards and are hanging on other people's walls as nautical art, were sold as is, or were chopped up and thrown away.
