I have looked at the Winters designs. I have a QCC kayak by him that I like a lot. Problem is that as I have lost weight, it has gotten a bit squirrely. Sitting too high into the wind. It's great packed with camping gear. I also think I'm a tad heavy for the Tasman Sea. I looked the specs over, and 180lb seems to be the upper limit. I researched this a lot before I submitted a question to the list. Thanks for the suggestion!
