: How do I go about removing the last strip that has been glued into the bottom
: of my Spring Run that is mis-aligned? The glue has completely setup and I
: am concerned that I will splinter the bead and cove on the good strip
: underneath the bad one when I try to split it away.

Put a new blade in a utility knife and use a number of strokes to cut through
the glue line. Forget about the bead and cove. Just cut on the joint and spread, add glue
and align the joint. Don't remove the whole strip unless you have to., as a matter of fact
even if you have to, I wouldn't. I'd suggest cutting and regluing as outlined above because
the uncut section will help hold/align the rest of the strip.

You can keep the strip in place with hot glued wood tabs straddling the joint.

I do this on my boats anywhere the strips are more than 1/32 out of alignment.

All the best,
