I also used foam rollers from the local Ace and had no problems. 9" cut in half and put on a 4" roller frame. I also noticed a mohair
roller at Ace that specifically mentioned marine epoxy on the package. I used it on the final deck fill and it did a great job, maybe a bit better than the foam, but they are comparatively pricey.

: Well; I've just wet out the glass on my hull, and am very happy
: with the results. Here's my problem though... I had bought some
: West foam rollers for the fill coats, and when I went to get
: them I learned that my wife used them to paint the bathroom!!!!
: Yikes; I have no idea how to apply fill coats now which should
: start in 4-6 hours. Has anyone had any sucess with regular paint
: rollers? Foam or nap? I'm assuming my best bet here is to buy
: the best quality low nap rollers I can and try those? Any help
: would sure be appreciated.

: Thanks,
