: I use long inrun and outrun tables. An extended fence on the inrun.
: Feather boards pressing down before and after the blade, and a
: third one as close to the front of the blade as possible,
: holding the board tight to the fence, and adjusting it after
: each cut. Featherboards are intended to compensate for

: Two fences won't do this and a jam could be seriously painful!!

Hi Les,

I too use two long infeed and outrun tables, that need to be rebuilt because I got cheap and made the bases from 2x4's which are warping. They worked fine except for their weight, I use melmine shelves from Menards for tables and they let the wood slide nicely. Next time I'll make the bases for them from hardwood to minimize the warping. Adjustable bases for them would be nice too. They are each 8' long so support the strips very well, though the whole setup is a tad ungainly, being about 20' long :)
