: Dang. Second time tonight I forgot to attach the image before
: posting. Can't wait until I lose my mind completely and run for
: office.

: I should probably mention that I do most of my ripping on a radial
: arm saw, and just pop in a longer fence strip. The infeed table
: is about 20 inches wide, and I use an infeed support about 10
: feet back when working with wood 16 to 22 feet long. It is a
: faster setup than using my table saw.

4 foot long infeed/outfeed tables are way too short for strips.

My 8 footers are too short too, I use extra rollers to support the strips, takes a little experimenting to how much lower they need to be, 3/16" cedar strips are very flexible and sag quickly when they come off the outfeed table.

Btw, have a high quality fence, Vega, don't plan on not using it.

Never been fond of radial arm saws, unless you have a big industrial Dewalt, they just arn't accurate.
