Hi Et.
Yes that looks familliar even if not identical. You seem to have come to the same logical conclusion as me.
Radial arm saws are fine for cross cuts but, I guess not idealy designed for ripping.
The bit I like least is that with the blade above the table it is permanently trying to lift the work piece.
Can't wait to ge moved and spend a little money!!
