: Charcoal. Either buy a bag, beg a spare briquette from a friend, or
: partially burn a stick. Put your charcoal in a dish and grind it
: with a broomstick if you don't have a mortar and pestle. it
: crshes very easily into extremely fine particles. The more time
: you work it the finer it gets-- but you only need a teaspoon
: full and getting that should be less than a minute. You can
: filter it through a piece of loosely woven fabric (cheesecloth)
: to eliminate any big chunks if you feel you have to.
: If you can find a match and a stick (hopefully that is not too
: exotic, or foreign) you're in business.
