: . . . Any ideas on how to fix it?

Generally, I suggest that these minor blemishes be left alone for several months. At the end of the paddling season--maybe November of 2011, when you pull the boat inside to store it for the winter, you will want to do all kinds of work to it to repair the dings and dents acquired through the year. Fix the air bubble and the random thread then. Not now. You'll have plenty of repair work at that time.

If you have a syringe and needle you can pump a few drops of resin into the airbubble at any time. That is not a big deal. The thread can be left alone for ever. No one is going to notice it. If you want, take a picture of the thread and save that so your boat can be identified if someone steals it. Think of it like a fingerprint, or some other unique identifying mark that only the builder would know about.
