Hehe.... I'm laughing with you, not at you...

I did the same thing - planed the end of my thumb off, didn't notice until I saw
that my white accent strip had a nice, streaky 'red' stain to it.

Hope that sands out. OTOH, I can honestly say I've put everything I have
into this boat!
