Strip: Cutting Cloth to conform *PIC*

Hi guys,
Just finished wetting out first layer of 3.2 on my Cape Ann and cloth did not conform to bow and stern at all. Any advice on how to cut the cloth at these areas without making a mess like I just did?
Hopefully the next layer will be more successful.

Btw, thanks for the forum's advice thus far. 3.2 + MAS in a 65 degree cellar and I haven't swore once...
