Here's the stands I used to hold a Stitch&Glue boat I built for my 10 yr old son. The pic shows the carpet slings holding the finished boat but during the build, I used a "T" shaped strongback I laminated from 1/2" plywood that slipped into slots on the end frames. Also had 1/6's in an "X" pattern tieing the two end frames together...

I am always moving the "under construction" boats around my garage workshop so having casters is a must for me...
