: I am about to start planing and sanding the inside of my stripper,
: and I am trying to figure out how smooth I need to make it. I do
: not much care about the asthetics of the inside of the yak, as
: nobody is goinf to see it. I am more concerned with weight and
: strength. So, do just need to get the glue out and knock the
: edges off the strips? Or do I need to have a totally fair
: surface?

The more fair the surface the less resin you'll use saturating the glass, the less resin you use the lighter the kayak will be.

Also very easy if the surface isn't fair to have air pockets under the glass, so it won't be as strong either.
