I like to use a strip of blue building foam to get a nice level for bending the strips. I found that it worked better than spacer blocks. Spot hot glue it to the coaming lip and base. If I use yellow flue to glue the coaming strips together I can slip a knife between and slip the coaming off to sand it. I put a layer of Saran Wrap on top of the blue before epoxying the lip in place so it comes out easily. Love the ideas I get here at this forum.

: Hi,
: It would be better to let the wood dry until stable again before
: gluing. There will be a good level of moisture in the wood after
: drying and Gorilla glue and the like cure by moisture not
: wetness.
