Strip: visible glass under epoxy

After a total of 5 coats I can see some glass weave clearly under the epoxy. It is along the stems were I had a hard time getting any depth of coverage due to gravity helping the epoxy run off. I thought I had a good wet out and did not notice the visible weave until after I glassed the inside of the hull.

I tried another coat but the glass is buried under a layer of cured epoxy. Do I need to cut this section out? Is there any other way to fix this?
