Thanks for the input.
The info that the Nikumi is not really a good fit for an over 200lbs paddler comes from a guy (I do not know if I can name him here or not) who also built one. I have seen that the displacement of Nikumi is 325lbs at 5 inches, but wondered if this depth affects performance.
It is good to hear that you have the same weight (you may also receive comments suggesting diet ;-) ) and the Nikumi still fits you.
This reply may put an end to my quest so I can start building it.
How do you like the riding/paddling (these may not be the correct terms for it, but please forgive my English) charasteristics SOF version of the standard Nikumi by the way?
