Sorry Mike but all that video shows is you can sail downwind pretty easy if you hug the shore and the seastate is almost calm. A boat doesn't become a sailboat until it can tack.

Trying to sail with that tiny kayak rudder and using a paddle instead of a leeboard has only limited applications. If a boat isn't equipt with the minimum reqirements the wind will never be your friend. You may end up in Peoria instead of getting home to dinner on time.
