Hi Damian,
If you have a couple of ratcheting band clamps, tighten one up fore and aft of the cockpit. They apply even pressure and should tell you pretty quick if you have a problem. I'd leave them on for awhile if the epoxy is uncured.
If no clamps, you could use rope or webbing, tourniquet style.
I think you're ok.......mine was out about 1/2" at the widest point and it lined up easily with band clamps and some spreader sticks in the hull.

: Hi,

: I just finished glassing the inside of the deck on my night heron
: hybrid. I flipped it over and placed it back on the hull and it
: appears to have flattened out a bit and thus got wider. Its the
: worst around the cockpit, about 3/4" on each side, and gets
: better towards the front and rear. My question is... is this
: excessively to wide now to match up with the hull, or does this
: sound within reason and no biggie?

: Thanks,
: Damian
