Oops, I left off the message.
I am finishing up a double baidarka designed by Tom Yost. The frame is finished and it getting it's skin now.
Tom came up with a great name the DoubleDarka. It started several weeks back when I asked Tom if he had ever thought about a double Nikumi and he said thet he had something he had been working on a while back. Well that must have inspired him to finish the designing and I got the offsets and here is what came out.

The DoubleDarka is not a bigger Nikumi but a new design. I am building it with cedar stringers. 1/2" ply stations, glued and pegged construction. I have skined it with 8oz poly and coated it with urethane. I am installing a line so I can pull float bags into the ends and back out again, something I have wanted to do for the last several SOF builds.

Soon my daughter and I will launch the DoubleDarka and give a paddling report, can hardly wait. Until then comments are welcome.
