...I might as well announce a joining of my own. YESSSSSSSS!!!!! Keith and I got his deck permanently attached to the hull this morning. I love a good union. Malcolm's is a great union, so is Keith's. :) A note on Linda's kayak: she still hasn't burned her art work onto the deck so that deck is still apart from the hull. I hope to get them attached next week. We plan on having a launch party for both kayaks during July 01 (Canada Day, eh!) so once she gets the deck art burned, I will be living and breathing the rest of the build until it is done. If I can build Hans Friedel's Raven in 14 days, surely I can connect a deck, rising, coaming, seat, hatches and deck hardware, not to mention brass stem bands in just, ohhhhhh, what is it now...hmmm, I'm gonna have only 10 days to get 'er finished, including 5 coats of varnish...Yikes! I'll have to give up something to make the time available to complete this project. Hmm, I hope Linda doesn't miss me at night while I am at mom's finishing up HER kayak. ;)
