Your frame looks beautiful. Mature geometry. Or something like that. Like an aircraft fuse that doesn't have anything superfluous and doesn't lack for strength. Maybe someone can help me express my admiration better?

Have you given any thought to sleeping aboard? I like to sleep in my boats, the aircraft style of construction makes that uncomfortable. Would a deck at the level of the lower frame tops be too high, metacenter-wise, for good stability? Herreshoff had a raised deck in his kayaks, one of them anyway, and still had good stability.

The floorboards in the rec-boat I am skinning are below the frames, that's how I know how hard it will be to lie down comfortably.
