Crocodiles in northern Australia mean that it is sometimes safer to sleep in your kayak than come onshore. You need to take two floats. Attach a paddle to the front deck with a float at each end.

Looking forward to a test report on the DoubleDarka. Did consider building the Tom Yost Sea Tour EXP double but wasn't excited by the look. The DoubleDarka looks good.
