Yup, poorly mixed epoxy is PITA. I just got done cutting out some 'glass on my kayak that had delaminated from the strips. I could not figure out what happened until I cut the bad patch out. The epoxy underneath was still gooey, and never did setup. I guess I forgot to put the hardener into one of the mixing pots. Live and learn.

I am now starting my second boat, and have taken to calling the first one my "practice boat".
