You will be fine. I have been paddling mine without a varnish for a few months, and I just brought it back up the hill to the house for a final sanding, fiberglass touch up and varnish. I have gotten advice to keep it out of the sun for extended periods, but a day or two of exposure to sunlight (or maybe even a month or two) won't hurt it.

I would try to keep it out of direct sun until the glass totally cures, just to be safe. Even that probably won't have any effect though.
