Smart money says 'yes'.

I haven't seen a way of mounting braces that looks equal to these studs. If you get the 1/4" dia, you'll have to drill out the holes in the Yakimas - easy. Easy, lightweight way to set them up. Some of the other makes of braces are lighter, but the mounting shouldn't change.
