Big batches arn't a problem and you don't necessarily have to go real fast using it, just can't contain it in a small cup. A roller tray works great when you're doing this, spreads out the resin and the metal sucks out any extra heat too. If it's really warm out, can even put the roller tray on ice to keep the resin cool.
