Hey Bill,

I hadn't forgotten, this is the same leak from last season. Given I don't even know where the leak is, I wasn't implying any flimsiness in the method. I slide/lower this boat out a second story window and rest it on end, so the problem could well be there. It simply gets handled rougher out of the water than other boats.

For the stripper, I'm copying your window wheeler, with a portage cart on the bow and rope on the stern so I can roll it out and lower it down without sliding it along a metal rail or resting it on end.

: Hi Stephen,

: We've discussed this before, SOF's can't be beach launched slid
: over the beach with you in it. No matter what it's covered with
: the abrasion will wear holes in the fabric.

: Btw, the current boat, knowing the owner, has a doubled 3.2 ounce
: glass bottom from chine to chine, much tougher. Also takes too
: long to do in the class.

: Best material for that is a poly boat.

: I've told everyone in the classes, they are deep water boats, meant
: to be entered and exited while it's floating.

: Bill H.
