Okay, a friend took a pic. Turns out it was not at Current Cut, which is where you normally go. He chose instead to go around the back side of St. James where there's more ground swell and some reefs to dodge. I've actually never seen a ferry boat take this way. Definately do-able, if you were about 100 yards further to port than this guy, but why??? This pic doesn't show as well, but only a small portion of the stern is awash. The rest of the boat is high and dry.

You can see clearly to get that big of a boat that far up the reef he had to hit that thing full on. All ashore that's going ashore... wait... never mind, we're all going ashore (crash). Just a few feet to starboard and it would have been a whole lot worse. So far only minor injuries reported from the 98 passengers, but of course the lawyers haven't gotten to them yet.
