Best way? Yakima/Thule rack with a short roof adaptor

But it ain't cheap.

If you aren't driving that far just stick a couple towels on the roof, put the boat on top, and run a rope over the boat, and back through the car. The problem with a coupe is that you cant run a second rope through the rear doors, so you will also have to run a pair of ropes at the bow and the stern of boat from twisting. Being as its a Honda there should be good tie down points on the underside of the bumpers. Keep in mind that you will probably end up scuffing the paint on the front and rear bumpers, and the roof. Make a call on how much that matters to you.
