I just got done making a set of saddlebag mounts (ala Tom Yost) for my bike, even using the tablesaw to cut the HMW poly had to stop after every 2nd or 3rd cut to let the blade cool or it would melt the poly instead of making a nice clean cut.

Band saw was worse, took lots longer to cool.
