: Beautiful night for a launch. This boat is wonderful. She is more
: stable than I imagined and tracks well while paddling, but
: drifts one way or the other when coasting. Im new to kayaking,
: but from the pics my wife took, the bow seems kind of high. Any
: input?

Sit up straight. :) Add a skeg to improve tracking. The bow does seem high to me. To help, you need to use a balance board to find your center of gravity (see Cunningham's Building the Greenland Kayak http://amzn.to/obohMt), and then align your center of gravity with the kayak's center of buoyancy. Usually, if you put a backband about 4 or 5 inches from the back of the cockpit, everything lines up.
