: Here is my latest build a strip version of the Yost Sea Glider.
: This is one nice design 18'8" long with an 18" beam. I
: built with cedar and 3.2 oz glass, 2 layers on the bottom only.
: It has no hatches and no bulkheads only float bags, just like
: the SOF version. I have not varnished yet, that will be in 2 or
: 3 weeks when I know it is fully cured. I just threw a pad in the
: cockpit and some foot braces for the launch. The weight before
: the foot braces is 25.4 lbs.
: The Sea Glider is more than I expected. It is much like my Sea
: Ranger in primary and secondary stibility. She tracks true and
: turns with a lean just fine. The sculling brace and roll as you
: would expect are so sweet! I should mention this Sea Glider is
: fast and fun to paddle.
: I can't thank Tom Yost enough for this design and all his help!
