Yup, you should be abole to get the forms to within 1/16 on your own pretty easily by rough cutting and belt sanding to the line. I am far from an experienced woodworker, and was able to make this happen.

Now, when you go to placing the strips, you are going to end up with some wonky things on your first boat and you will be off by more than 1/16th in some places. Don't worry about it to much, as your second boat will go better. But, if you paid for precut forms - you should get what you paid for........
