: Currently building a hybrid and based on what I have read here,
: have decided to put down a seal coat prior to glassing the deck.
: However, is there any advantage to be gained from applying a seal
: coat to the plywood hull before glass? I'm using 3oz glass,
: which I expect will wetout very easily.
: Cheers

I like to seal the surface first, wood tends to suck up epoxy at different rates and can starve the glass for resin. Can't happen if it's sealed. Less of a problem with plywood, but still happens.
