: Thanks evryone for all the input. I spent about 2-1/2 hours last
: weekend clean out mouse nests and such. After a good look best I
: can tell the gunwales and at least one lap strake board down on
: each side need replacement. It looks like the inwales are OK. If
: the owner had money I would replace them with something pretty
: as well as the seats. Maybe mahogany. But since cost will be an
: issue I'll probably just repaint. The outside of the hull looks
: pretty decent and I may elect to leave some of the glass on it.
: The keel to lap strake boards at the bow aren't fitted very well
: and is currently covered with a bad glass job. Once I get rid of
: the glass it may verywell need to be reglassed to prevent a
: complete rebuild. It was contructed with nails best I can tell
: and several butt blocks are present near the bow. The boat was
: rigged to sail and best I can tell I have all the rigging. The
: next big issue is getting it in the shop.

These boats sail really well, if a bit tender, they are pure joy to row.
