: now keep the kayak behind the oleander bushes wrapped in a
: custom cover which now is full of holes. (Darn you, UV!). Amy
: helped me pull out the yak and I played the perilous role of wal
: king the bow through the bushes. As the kayak appeared from the
: darkness Amy said, "oh look, a baby scorpion." Though
: small, this thing was no baby by far. This thing was at least a
: Sophmore in college.

: I grabbed an old boat oar and smacked him to oblivion. Then as we
: loaded the kayak on the XTerrible (X-Terra) something was
: crawling in my hair. Okay, probably just a millipede... Or maybe
: a centipede? Note: centipedes down here are about 10 inches long
: and will put you in the hospital- no kidding. Whew! Just a
: millipede.

: So tonight I will have terrible dreams, and tomorrow I will be a
: bit timid as I paddle out. I have been stung by a scorpion
: before and it is like 3 wasp stings in one, but the pain goes
: away and then your mouth tingles. I know- weird, but that's what
: happens.

: am going to ATTEMPT to tow home tomorrow to resaw with hopes of

Hey Malcolm, we've got a foot of snow here. I just went out to shovel the end of the driveway out AGAIN, but good news, no scorpions in my boots!
