Hi Dan,

When I built my BP I followed Björn Thomasson's building instructions mostly. Didn't buy a book just searched for and asked for help here and on the Blue Heron forum. As it was my first kayak build other than a SOF there is inspiration and information on many non-BP build blogs.

Dan Caouette's site, which you have found, was intensely interrogated (annoying when you reorganised things Dan C.)! But here are some other BP build blogs;

There is a Facebook group 'Black Pearl, Kayak by Björn Thomasson' where I have posted questions, again you have to do some translating to read some of it. Annoyingly the Scandinavians all seem to read and understand each others languages and thankfully english.
