The cross bars on the new Outbacks are 30" apart, right?

My wife picked up a '07 Tribeca, which I used to carry my Yost Sea Tour 15 EXP. The coaming opening is 30" long, so when the 'yak sits upside down, the coaming ends sit on the bars proper. Since the formers sit on either end of the coaming, I figure that's an optimal situation. On a non-Yostie... I have no idea.

I do tie the ends of the boat down if I'm going any sort of distance, though.
