Hi Douglas

It sounds to me as if the beveled stem form is for use if you are going without an inner stem. Just tape the thing up, staple the strips to it as ypu go along, and pull it out when the hull is glassed, then a fillet inside afterward.

Otherwise you need to cut the bevel off the stem form and place your inner stem laminations in place of it.

Don't forget to tape all areas that you don't want glue to Bond to, otherwise it is in there for good.
