Also I should mention that in the end I will be covering it in a patterned fabric of my sons choice and covering that in fiberglass. I will be using polyester resin to do this and 10 ounce cloth.
1. If using this method what thickness will the stringers have to be?
2. More aimed at Bill H.. how many layers of 10 oz do you think will be good I was thinking one.
3. Wood selection as in type, based on the fiberglass shell?
The reason for using these materials is that I have plenty of them so this time around it will be cheaper than any other way.
