: Thanks everyone on the advice of bending strips to meet the forms.
: I reduced the size to 3/8 and with the heat gun am doing pretty
: well. I decided to give up on the stapleless approach to make
: things a bit easier. So now I have lots of small nail holes
: which I would like to hide as much as possible. I know alot of
: things have been tried but not sure which works the best. My own
: samples so far seams to favor using water base wood putty. It
: will swell the wood alittle and I can match the color pretty
: good. Has anybody found a better way to mnimize the appearance
: of the holes. Thanks for any advice Joe
I am still trying new things. If you put a small dot of Gorillia glue on the hole and then a piece of tape the glue expands into the hole and fills it all the way threw. The only problem it still shows guite strong when resin is applied but you should not get any air bubble from the hole. Steaming seams to be the best method so far. It does not work to well for anything other than very small holes. Still open for ideas. Joe
