I considered Newfound but ended up getting a Redfish Spring Run kit. I am a noob and just started the hull. I actually like Newfound. I live in NH and drove up there to see the Newfound shop. I enjoyed the visit and seeing some nice boats being built. I also bought some DVDs for more info. What swung me towards Redfish was two things:
1. The kit was actually cheaper
2. Redfish supplies 3/16" strips, instead of 1/4" strips. I had heard good things about 3/16" strips plus, I felt the thinner strips would be easier for me to bend and twist as needed.
