: I have joined the deck to the hull of my Guillemot L. The selvage
: edge is quite sharp in the forward areas where I cannot reach
: with my hand and sandpaper. Any hints/tips on what folks have
: used to hang onto the sandpaper so that these areas can be
: sanded?

: I am worried about sharp edges snagging stuff sacks and other
: camping gear.

Lee Valley sells a small curved scraper with an attachment slot in it. I got one and drilled a hole in the end of a broomstick. I epoxied a bolt into the hole and when the epoxy set, bolted the scraper to the end of the broomstick so that it was at 90 degrees to the stick. I was able to scrape all that rough stuff out of the ends of my boats using this "tool".
