Thanks Bill, I see the point..I'm actually toying with a few ideas, partially inspired by another Dane, who has built a few a what he calls GSOF's

One of them was to epoxy a 4" strip of fiberglass lenghtwise on the outside of each bottom stringer before covering with the dacron, then using the strips to lock squares of glass in place, essentially crating a sandwich hull, with the dacron as "ham"... but maybe not..
