I don't know what the difference is between Stitch and glue and tack and tape?????
To me its the same thing just different words.

I tried epoxy coated ply instead of glass ply.
It was so easy to damage the coating that I had to fix the epoxy everytime I went out. Even when I thought I never bumped anything.

I suggest full glass, inside and out.
If you hit something, it is usually the inside that cracks. The inside of a boat is usually very hard to get to and reseal the busted wood.

Stick with the tried and true standard method and save experimenting for your second boat. You will be much happier and the boat will last longer.
