as I said before, when you play with hot glue and scrap strips you can clamp anywhere you can hold something with your hand.

I need to try it again- with the 'right' glue and gun.
When I did use hot glue between my (pine) forms and cedar strips, when I knocked the form free with a hammer blow, the glue pulled (sizeable) splinters out of the cedar strips. The inside of the hull needed filler, which sort of ruined the 'wood look'.
