Sorry, didn't mean to seem impatient. I don't know people's habits and thought that maybe they don't look at discussion threads that have run their course, so started a new one.

It probably depends on how folks have their display preferences set - I just have messages displayed with 'newest first', regardless of thread (and age of thread).
You are correct - people may not notice a 'revived thread' if they have their display preferences set differently.

If I were interested in SOF building, I'd definitely have Bill's dacron/glass/epoxy method on my list.
